ABOUT US
- Alan Frost: A
background that straddles the media and commerce includes
work in broadcast television as researcher, scriptwriter,
cameraman, studio director and news producer. He has worked
with several major corporations on establishing crisis management
procedures and has sat on crisis management teams during
genuine crises. An officer in the Reserve Forces, he was
part of the information co-ordination team at Ministry of
Defence, London during the Iraq combat operation in 2003
and co-ordinated the media operation surrounding the military
element of President George W Bush’s visit to the
UK.
- Robert Partridge:
Also a former senior army officer in the Reserve Forces,
Rob has directed teams within both the military and private
sector. He has worked in media operations around the world,
including Kossovo where he was responsible for planning
and implementing the Media Operation and Information Campaign
during the first democratic regional elections, and Sierra
Leone where , as Senior Civil Affairs Advisor, he performed
the same role during the Disarmament, Demobilisation and
Reintegration Operation. During the Iraq Combat Operation
he was Deputy Director in the US Specialist Media Unit.
He is a guest lecturer on Media Operations at the Kofi Annan
International Peace Training Centre in Ghana.
- Angus Taverner: A former
Regular Army officer and currently a member of the Reserve
Forces, Angus has also spent some years working in commerce
and the public sector. A key figure in formulating the Ministry
of Defence’s Media Operations policy, he is also an
advisor to the UK Government on Media Operations strategy.
He was the British Army spokesman for the North of England
during the Foot & Mouth epidemic, and has spoken and
trained on Media Operations issues in USA, Germany, South
Africa, UAE, Estonia, Armenia, Hungary, Romania and Bangladesh.
