Information Operations
The aim of Information Operations is
to gain broad support and maintain confidence among stakeholders,
staff, special interest groups and the wider public, usually
before the impact of a crisis or threat. In commercial terms,
Information Operations can be compared with the marketing
function; a well-designed Information Campaign will combine
elements of Media Ops and Information Ops to produce a positive,
proactive presentation of the organisation to its target audiences.
We have extensive experience of Information
Operations and its application to bring about positive results.
We can advise clients on the most effective combination of
Media Ops and Info Ops, and can take a direct role in designing
a comprehensive Information Campaign.
Simulation
We are able to design, construct and
execute exercises and other support activities to supplement
and validate training, to test the capability of specialist
teams and to build confidence among staff who need to deal
with the media. Such exercises can be as simple or complex
as required, ranging from a series of telephone calls to a
comprehensive programme of simulated events, involving telephone
and electronic input, face to face interviews, and television,
radio and print output, all tailored to the client organisation.
We provide trained and experienced media professionals to
accurately simulate all forms of contact with the media, whilst
ensuring that all activities remain completely confidential.
